Circumstances affecting the termination of teenager sports training
Šírová, Vendula ; Kotlík, Kamil (advisor) ; Harbichová, Ivana (referee)
This bachelor's thesis mainly deals with the circumstances and reasons causing the termination of pre-adolescent sports training. In the theoretical part of the thesis, several topics are mentioned and explained, which are closely related to the given issue. Specifically, the theoretical part discusses youth and their age periods, general sports training, pre-adolescent sports training, motivation, free time and ending sports training. The practical part of the work is based on quantitative research, specifically on anonymous questionnaire survey, in which a total of 103 former athletes between the ages of 18-25, who finished their sports training between the ages of 13-18, were involved. To reach the answers i choosed the so-called snowball technique. The questionnaire survey reveals the answers to the questions whether parents play any role in the termination of sports training, whether early specialization is related to termination, or whether the social capital of the family is related to the peristence of pre-adolescent in sports. The main goal of the bachelor's thesis was to find out the circumstances and reasons for youth leaving organized sports. With the help of research, i came to the conclusion that the main circumstances the cause the termination of pre- adolescent training are school,...
Reasons and Frequency of Ventilatory Circuit Disconnection in Patients on Artificial Pulmonary Ventilation
Ševčíková, Klára ; Línková, Šárka (advisor) ; Kravcová, Kateřina (referee)
The thesis deals with the reasons for disconnecting the ventilation circuit and the frequency of individual causes. It is part of a broader and more comprehensive study whose common goal is to combat ventilator-associated pneumonia (VAP). The theoretical part of the thesis briefly describes the definition of VAP and its preventive elements. However, it highlights the conflict between manufacturers' recommendations and the results of the latest studies regarding the interval for replacing individual components of the ventilation circuit. Furthermore, it draws attention to the limited and insufficient emphasis placed on this issue both in the theoretical sphere and in clinical practice. The practical part of the thesis presents the results of the conducted observation, whose main objective is to identify the most common cause of ventilation circuit disconnection. The assumption was a high proportion of the frequency of replacing individual circuit components, especiallythe passive heat and moisture exchanger, which was confirmed by the results of the research survey. Another objective was to observe hygiene practices in the care of the ventilation circuit, which had not been fully defined before. Equally important was the establishment of foundations for creatingstandardized procedures and highlighting...
Extent and Cause of Private Tutoring at Primary Schools
Höschlová, Marie ; Stará, Jana (advisor) ; Greger, David (referee)
The goal of this thesis is to outline the situation of private supplementary tutoring in the first years of primary school in the Czech Republic, as this topic has not been investigated properly so far. A questionnaire for young pupil's parents was chosen as an appropriate method to collect the data needed. Although the research sample was not large, the research has brought valuable information about the children who have supplementary tutoring, about the reasons they (their parents) have for it, and also the tutors chosen to teach the pupils. The thesis builds on foreign sources and compares the situation in the Czech Republic with the situation in other countries in the world. Despite its limited extent this work could be used as a first groundwork for subsequent more extensive research in this field.
Homeschooling - Primary Education of Children at Home
Procházková, Romana ; Komárková, Tereza (advisor) ; Tvrzová, Ivana (referee)
The topic of this thesis is home schooling of children on the first level of basic school in the Czech Republic. The theoretical part of my thesis is dealing with the history, development and individual spheres of home schooling and I have tried to summarize here the opinions of both the supporters and opponents of home schooling by focusing on the following issues: the reasons for entering home schooling, socialization of a child in home schooling and its efficiency. In the practical part I identified the reasons why individual families enter home schooling based on structured interviews with five different families. Then I gathered information about how demanding the preparation for home schooling is as well as home schooling itself, including the negative aspects of home schooling. I have learned that the answers of the respondents are quite similar, I have not found any significant differences. Most opinions of the supporters of home schooling mentioned in the theoretical part have also been confirmed by the experience of the parents. This thesis should bring both basic information and personal experience of families mainly to parents who are considering home schooling.

Subjective and Objective Reasons in Ethics
Šolarová, Anna ; Jirsa, Jakub (advisor) ; Čapek, Jakub (referee)
This text explores the question of reasons for morality and the related issues, particularly the nature and the source of moral motivation. First, I elaborate the metaphysical distinction between subjective and objective, which concerns the status of moral reasons and the extent to which a human agent in involved in their genesis. Next, I raise some questions about moral motivation and I introduce briefly some contemporary views on these issues. Major part of the work is dedicated to the exposition of Kierkegaard's position, which combines subjective motivation for ethics (avoidance of personally perceived symptoms of despair) and objectively grounded reasons for morality (sin). Philosophers interested in moral motivation typically look for fundamental moral principles and compelling arguments in favour of being moral, but Kierkegaard turns the attention of his readers to the task of their own selves. His pseudonyms do not look for an objective moral principle, they show why the ethical life-view is essential for attainment of true selfhood. In this work, I compare some contemporary accounts of moral motivation to Kierkegaard's, I comment critically on some interpretations of Kierkegaard and differentiate between different aspects of reason for choosing the ethical life, implied in his pseudonymous...
